Borders ensure groups of people aren’t subject to a hyper-rapid pace of change due to certain immigration inflows. This is important because it keep societies stable, with strong shared values, languages, ethics, etc. I’m not sure why this is never talked about but I see it as more and more important (and I’m far from a Republican).
